This online course helps you develop your creativity and a sustained art practice over a 5 week period.

It is designed to support you with your research in terms of themes, colours and composition, taking references from famous artists of different movements.

In a respectful and encouraging setting you will be able to receive individual and group feedback, and strengthen your confidence with your practice.

You do not need to know how to draw or paint in a formal classical way for this course, it is explorative, and by challenging and breaking rules you will learn spontaneity and courage to unlock your potential and your own voice.  Suitable to beginners and intermediate

5 weeks online program

This online program runs over five weeks - 2 sessions in March and 3 sessions in April 2024.

The lectures will be delivered via a Zoom link.

It includes:

  • weekly lectures and assignments

  • personal feedback from the tutor through private recorded message

  • group feedback and discussion, sharing one's work

  • list of materials will be given before the course as suggestion.

What do I need to take part?

Enrolled artists will work from their home and therefore will need to create a personal space which can be either:

  • a corner in a room where you will leave your materials and work in progress

  • a desk space

  • a kitchen table

  • your own art studio

You will need to have access to a digital camera on your computer, laptop or mobile.  The sessions will be done through a zoom link sent to you every week.  All participants are required to be visible on their screen, in order to share their work and discuss their project.

Apart from your art materials (which will be listed when you enrol or at the start of each session) it will be useful if you have access to a printer, and a camera to take photos.  This can be done using your mobile camera.
